6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this
all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
The theme was planted in my heart during our first 20 year celebration in January. As Dennis Goldsworthy-Davis talked about seeing ourselves through God's vision and not the glasses of our past and how when Peter walked past people they were healed by his shadow. God placed a burning desire in me to be so close to Him that I would shine in all circumstances. (I am sure I don't measure up to that goal yet.) This scripture so says what is in my heart for we are only jars of clay filled with the treasure of light to shine His love. I am so looking forward to hearing Billie Hunt bring the 3 messages for our conference.
"Billie Hunt is the founder and president of Billie Hunt Ministries. The ministry was founded in 1983 and is active across the United States.Billie has been healed of cancer, a childhood back injury and arthritis. Her home has been restored after marital separation and she has faced the trauma of multiple miscarriages prior to giving birth to her daughter, Christie. Prior to going into full-time ministry, Billie faced the pressures and challenges of building a successful real estate business.
Billie has been involved in ministry since she was a teen. She has served as worship director and minister of music for several churches, as well as working in the district office of a major ministry as an administrative assistant. She traveled with Marilyn Hickey for several years, leading worship, ministering in special music and occasionally teaching. She and her husband, Art, were members of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas over 20 years. There she has taught in various classes and Lakewood Bible Institute, as well as led worship. She teaching was on TV seven years with Daystar and TBN.
Currently, Billie is on staff at The Ark Family Church as Associate Pastor, Adult Ministries. She continues to minister in Bible Studies and conferences.
Billie's practical style of teaching makes the Bible come alive! She will be a great blessing for our first Women’s Conference at AFLC. We look forward to having her with us once again."
